Crane Aerospace & Electronics offers Interpoint® High Reliability DC-DC converters compliant up to Class H. Designed for demanding defense, aerospace and industrial applications when failure is not an option.
The most popular Interpoint High Reliability DC-DC converters are:
The MOR Series is available with Class H SMD numbers, up to 87% typical efficiency and 16 to 40 volt input in single, dual or triple output models.
270 VDC input with improved performance able to parallel up to 5 units. Interpoint® MHP270 Series dc-dc converters operate from a MIL-STD-704 nominal 270-volt dc power bus – from 160 to 400 VDC continuous operation with surges to 450 volts – and provide isolated outputs at 5, 12, 15, and 28 VDC. The converters are available with standard screening or “ES” screening.
Interpoint® MFL Series is available with a Class H SMD number. They are 28-volt DC-DC converters rated up to 65 watts of output power. The converters are offered with standard screening, “ES” screening, or fully compliant to “883” MIL-PRF-38534 Class H screening. Standard microcircuit drawings (SMD) are available.
The MFX Series has a wide input range of 16 to 50 volts, 3.3 or 5 volt output, 90% efficiency typical, magnetic feedback and transient protection to 80 volts per MIL-STD-704A.
MWR Series™ – Triple Output – 35 Watts
The MWR Series™ is available with Class H SMD numbers. The MWR offers up to 35 watts in a 1 cubic inch case with up to 85% efficiency. It accepts a wide input range of 14-50 volts and up to 80 volts transient for up to one second.
MTR 50 – MTR Series™ – 30 Watts
The MTR 50 is available with Class H SMD numbers,16 to 50 volt input, single or dual outputs and up to 81% typical.
The FMTR Series DC/DC converters offer up to 30 watts of output power from single or dual output configurations with up to 83% efficiency. The converters are offered with standard screening or “ES” screening.
The MTR 40 series is available with Class H SMD numbers in single, dual or triple output models with up to 84% typical efficiency.
The MFK Series now meets MIL-STD-704A 80 volt transient spec. The MFK is available with Class H SMD numbers, an input range of 16-50 volts, 13 different output models, up to 25 watts of output power and 87% efficiency. Standard and ES screening also available.
The MHV Series is available with Class H SMD numbers, 16 to 50 Vin, single, dual or triple outputs in nine different configurations and up to 15 watts output power. The converters are available with standard screening, “ES” screening, or “883” MIL-PRF-38534 Class H screening. Standard microcircuit drawings (SMD) are available.
The MHF+ Series is available with Class H SMD numbers. Chose from single, dual or triple output models with 60 to 84% typical efficiency.
A surface mountable package with outputs of 5, 12, 15, ±5, ±12 and ±15 VDC meet a variety of system needs. The converters are offered with standard screening, “ES” screening, or fully compliant to “883” MIL-PRF-38534 Class H screening. Standard microcircuit drawings (SMD) are available.
The MSA Series is available with Class H SMD numbers. The converter is only 1.16 in2 (7.5 cm2) with an input voltage of 16-40 and a choice of 7 different output.
The MGH Series DC/DC converters deliver 1.5 watts of output power in a labor saving surface mount package. The converters are offered with standard screening, “ES” screening, or fully compliant to “883” MIL-PRF-38534 Class H screening. Standard microcircuit drawings (SMD) are available.
The MCH Series is available with Class H SMD numbers. The converter has a footprint of just 0.79 square inches and delivers 1.5 watts of output power while saving significant board real estate. The converters are offered with standard screening, “ES” screening, or “883” MIL-PRF-38534 Class H screening. Standard microcircuit drawings (SMD) are available.
